Were these things really around?

My post on Archimedes' Text has ruffled a few feathers as I received these two amusing email comments in my box about it:

1) If God destroyed the world with water, how were these things saved.. cause it says up there B.C. Before Christ...... especially writings...

2) Oh but I believe in the Bible.. but there are some things I question... like when they say they nailed Christ to the cross... I was unaware they had nails and a hammer at that time.. especially nails... now I believe they tied his arms and hands...

BC is supposed to stand for Before Christ, and some call it as before the Christian era. Some books use BCE instead, which stands for Before the Common Era. AD stands for Anno Domini, which is latin for after the birth of Christ.

I have heard a lot of scholarly debates about how Noah's flood was local instead of worldwide. But that doesn't explain other things like how were things saved. Things that are being found later from digging in the ground. Things like books, manuscripts and statues, just to name a few.

Now that the nail and hammer bit was brought up, nails are manufactured by machines. Machines have to tear up the metal, compress it and shape it to a cylindrical shape. Were there factories around back then? If so, why weren't we told about them?

Things like this make you start questioning if those who kept history records are being honest to the public or not. I have said so many times that the bible is not the unadulterated word of God. Anyone who believes that a book [ANY book] is unadulterated, is not only hell bent on staying deceived, but is also not willing to go search for the truth.

I have no doubt that this posting is going to show up on a lot of forum boards now. Not that I care because I don't. The more people wake up to see the lies, games and garbage that is around them, the more people will demand to know the truth.

You are absolutely right. The written word is adulterated. The one that everyone forgets about, is the one written on our hearts, that all men will have no excuse because all know. The written version of the bible has been tampered with to suit those that want to dominate the world. This is a centuries old plan, if not a millinia old plan.
